We’ve been hearing rumors about the Galaxy S successor and now Samsung has officially announced it’s coming on February 13. The phone will be displayed on the Samsung Stall at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. They say they’ll launch another teaser (probably with more info) on February 13.
While we’ve heard rumors that it will just be a bumped up version of Samsung’s Cortex CPU, it’s been pretty much confirmed that it will run a dual-core chipset. It could either be nVidia’s Tegra 2 or Samsung’s own dual-core processor. It’s also been confirmed that the phone will run a Super AMOLED Plus display.
But in my opinion, all this is useless if Samsung keeps it on the same Android version even after a year of launch like it has done with the current Galaxy S series.
