Remember Samsung’s iPod-Touch-Killer-To-Be Galaxy Player we told you about a few days back? It’s already out for pre-order in Europe. It’s available on Amazon for £149.99 (approx $233) for the 8 GB version. So the price is almost same as the iPod Touch 8GB. The 16 GB version is for £149.99 (approx $280) which is high since we know the iPod Touch is available for $299 for a 32 GB version.
You can see the detailed specs here. Compared to the iPod Touch it gives you GPS, FM Radio and Micro SD Card slot extra. It also has a removable battery unlike iPod Touch. The iPod Touch on the other hand is a bit slimmer, has a bigger screen, better resolution and way more games and apps courtesy the Apple App Store.
Not so sure whether it’s a iPod Touch replacement, but at $230 it’s a great device if you want to get into Android Development.
