Apple ships billionth AppStore app

Apple has shipped its billionth AppStore app. The one billionth app, Bump created by Bump Technologies, was downloaded by Connor Mulcahey, age 13, of Weston, CT.

Apple ran a contest for this milestone in which the lucky chap to download the billionth app (Connor Mulcahey) will get the following goodies:

• a $10,000 iTunes gift card
• an  iPod touch
• a Time Capsule
• a Macbook Pro

Whoa. Thats a lot of stuff. Congratulations Connor!
