Olive telecom has launched Olivepad-VT100 in India. Olivepad is the first 3G enabled tablet to be launched in India. The tablet will be powered by the Android OS and will support 3.5G HSUPA networks in addition to WiFi and Bluetooth.
Weighing at 410 grams the Olivepad is powered by an ARM11 600MHz processor and is based on the new Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset. It features 512MB RAM, 512MB inbuilt flash memory, and microSD expandability up to 32GB, aside from a CMOS 3MP camera and webcam.
