When I opened my mailbox today, I came across an email from Skype offering a $1 credit to compensate for the recent outage of its services.

Skype is a pretty popular communication platform and has become a necessity for many businesses and individuals around the world. And the folks at Skype know this. That is why the outage caused a chaos worldwide.
The $1 amount might sound meager, but it will let you call any landline in the US for 30 minutes. I am not sure if this credit is being given to every Skype user or just the ones that were affected. As the outage occurred around start of business hours in Pacific Time, many Skype users around the world would have been sleeping and it doesn’t make sense to give them any such credit. Me? Yes, I was in the Pacific time zone and was affected with the outage. And by affected, I mean I wasn’t able to log in, or stay logged in.

Guess, they only gave the credit for the people with SkypeOut credit. I was affected, but didn't get any.
I was using the US Toll free number.
Looking for the procedure to redeem the
voucher for #1 to my Skype account.
