Micromax has launched the X259 Solar Phone in India at a price tag of INR 2499. The phone has a solar back panel which charges the phone when exposed to sunlight. Notable features of the phone include a 2.4 inches QVGA display with 320×240 pixels, dual sim support, & bluetooth.
Sounds like a good deal at a truly affordable price point, however, we hope the phone has a good heat sink to keep it under operating temperatures during charging.
