If you’ve ever spent considerable time on a Windows computer, chances are you’ve played Minesweeper. Along with Solitaire it was arguably the most commonly played game and the best way to waste time in pre-Internet era. I’ve never been much of a fan of Minesweeper on Windows. Maybe I always had something better to waste time on. But I always appreciated the smart gameplay.
If you were always a fan on Windows, and have been missing it since you got a Mac, there’s a good news for you. While browsing through Mac App Store, I found Minesweeper in the free section. I downloaded it and believe you me, it’s good. Well, as good as Minesweeper can be. It has various board sizes, simple clean graphics and is perfect for a quick timeout from work if the Internet is down.
