It’s a known fact that posting your email address on your website is bound to get you loads of Spam. And unless you are interested in amazing free gifts, Nigerian treasures or *ahem* larger stuff, it’s a big nuisance.
But you do want to post your email address on your website don’t you? And you do want to get emails from people who won’t take pains to change the [at] to @ from your cleverly concealed email address. Well, we have a solution. Actually, Dan Benjamin developed it, but remember, we are the ones who told you 😉
The solution, aptly named The Enkoder, converts your email address to an encrypted Javascript which makes it inaccessible to Spam bots scavenging the Internet for email addresses. The Enkoder is very simple to use. All you need to enter is your email address and link text and it will generate a Javascript that you can use instead of the actual link.
You can also download the Mac OS X version of The Enkoder if you use it regularly.
Ahead is the much needed disclaimer in the author’s words.
Although the Enkoder should help to reduce Spam, no solution is perfect. The only way to truly prevent Spam is to never publish your address at all, ever, anywhere.

Good solution.
It's more user-friendly than turning it into a picture for posting.
