In addition to launching the iPhone 5, Apple also announced its new lineup of iPods. They have done major hardware upgrades to iPod touch and iPod nano. Lets look at both of them.
The iPod touch has got a major design overhaul with the 4 inches retina screen (same as the iPhone 5), 5 megapixels iSight camera, FaceTime HD camera, Panorama, Dual core A5 chip, something called the loop & new vibrant colors!

- Bluetooth 4.0
- Nike+ support built in
- 1136-by-640-pixel resolution at 326 pixels per inch

- iPod touch loop – basically a wristband to secure your iPod

The iPod touch is priced at $299 for 32Gb model and $399 for the 64GB one.
The nano has been completely redesigned from the ground up. It features a 2.5 inches multi touch screen and an iPhone like home button. Other key upgrades include:
- Hardware buttons for volume control and basic playback operations
- Lightning port
- Video playback
- Built in pedometer
- Nike+ built in
- Bluetooth 4.0
- Enhanced battery life giving up to 30 hours of music playback
