LG didn’t plunge into the Android Tablet race early like it’s competitor Samsung. The company earlier announced that Android 2.2 wasn’t mature enough for tablets and that it would wait for Android 3.0. It’s recent products, LG Optimus One and LG Optimus 2x are noteworthy.
LG G-Slate is a LG Optimus series tablet running Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system also known as the LG Optimus PAD.
Here’s the list of promising features that separates this tablet from the rest (in a good way).

Runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb which is built specifically for tablets.
-
Supports 4G networks for faster browsing (to be released with T-Mobile in the US)

Here’s a video presentation of the tablet’s features.
This is one tablet that sets a new high standard for the much rumored iPad2. This tablet will be released sometime around March 2011 when the Android 3.0 Honeycomb will be debuted through it’s first tablet, the Motorola Xoom.
