Time magazine has published a list of top 10 tech failures of the past decade. The list was completed by 24/7 Wall St.
Here’s the list:
1. Microsoft Vista (the annoying and under performing operating system)
2. Gateway (a computer manufacturer which couldn’t sell much)
3. HD DVD (The high definition format disc that lost to Blu-ray)
4. Vonage (a VoIP company)
5. YouTube (Dunno why its in the list)
6. Sirius XM (the satellite radio)
7. Microsoft Zune (a well deserved entry)
8. Palm (the Smartphone and PDA company)
9. Iridium (a satellite phone company)
10. Segway (2 wheel electric vehicle company)
Yeah. No surprises that Microsoft has made it twice on the list :). Did you know that brown Zune was awarded the ugliest product award?

lol, vista and zune are no-brainers in the list! I am kind of surprised to see youtube and palm there though! I guess Palm because of their falling business and failed products like Foleo!
[…] Moreover, I am not sure how many users would be willing to upgrade to the “latest processor technology” (whatever that means) to upgrade to the successor of the biggest tech failure of the past decade. […]
