Emoticons in Gmail


Gmail is getting better day by day. Starting today, Gmail supports emoticons. To use this feature, one must compose an email with Rich Text Formatting enabled. Here is what it looks like in a Gmail compose screen:

You can choose from sets of square or circular emoticons. Also, a new set has been added to the chat window and it looks great:

  1. It may be getting feature rich, but gmail lately is becoming painstakingly slow to load.

    Its just some of there data centres or you too see that wait progress bar upon logging in, it takes a good 20 seconds for the in-box page to load up.
