A new startup in the already crowded Income Tax e-filing game in India is here to stay. clearTax claims that it is the fastest way to e-file your taxes in India. So does everyone else. The key differentiator here though is that it is free. Whereas other players charge around INR 150 per form 16 to e-file your returns, clearTax is offering the service for free. The only thing you have to pay for is any consulting services you might need for help with tax savings.
