Amazon has officially launched their kindle e-reader in india. The base model is priced at INR 6,999 and is available exclusively at Croma retail stores throughout India and also online at cromaretail.com. In order to facilitate Indian readers buy kindle ebooks, Amazon has also launched the India kindle store which offers over a million ebooks at cheap prices.
