We have talked a lot about the LG Optimus 2x. It’s now time to take out your Credit Card and buy the world’s first dual-core Android phone. The Optimus 2X is the first phone that runs nVidia’s Tegra 2. It features an 8 MP camera that can also record 1080p videos. The other specs like a 4? display, HDMI out and 8 GB memory are average for high-end phones these days. The phone runs Froyo but is scheduled to upgrade to Gingerbread in the future.
The phone is available for pre-order on eXpansys for £499.99. It’ll be shipped on February 21. The price comes out to a little above 35k INR. I guess they deserve to charge a premium for this monster of a phone.
PS: I’m personally glad to see the high price since it’s much higher than the Nexus S I recently ordered 😉
