Samsung Galaxy S2 Official Specs And Image

After all the rumors all these days, Samsung has finally officially released the Samsung Galaxy S2. This one looks like the bigger brother of Galaxy S and doesn’t match with the image we saw earlier but the specs (see ahead) look pretty much the same.

Official Specifications

• 4.3-inch 800×480 Super AMOLED Plus display
• 1GHz dual-core CPU (Still not sure whether it’s Samsung’s own Exynos or the Tegra 2)
• Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS
• 8 Megapixel Rear Camera and a 2 Megapixel front camera for video chat
• Gyroscope
• 16 GB and 32GB variants
• NFC Capabilities
• 8.49mm thick and only 116g!

We also heard the rumors of NFC chip but that doesn’t seem to be the case yet. While the specs are excellent, I personally think 4.3″ is way too big for a cellphone. Even in my big hands the iPhone feels much more handy and usable than my 4″ Nexus S. Your mileage may vary of course.
