Nissan developed a paint for its cars which can fix scratches automatically by itself. Now Nissan is building a case for the iPhone using this material. So if you happen to drop your iPhone and scratch this cover, it will heal by itself. The healing process will take some time depending on the intensity of the scratch. This is made possible with the use of a special paint is made of polyrotaxane, which Nissan says reacts when its structure is changed and actually morphs back into its original shape, covering over the scratch.
The case will be available later this year.

Grab your copy of NFS Undercover for your iOS device from the India AppStore before the EA Mobile deal expires. It’s definitely a game you don’t want to miss.
The game is really fun. But don’t expect any new tracks/cars though, the last update to the game was 2 years back in 2009.

The Siri jokes just keep coming. Check out this super hilarious one (NSFW):
[via Collegehumor]
Siri is one of the most useful and advertised features of iPhone 4S. Siri offers interactive conversations with applications like weather, email, SMS and more. Although this feature is officially only available on the iPhone 4S, jailbreak enthusiasts have been successful at porting Siri to the iPhone 3GS/4 and iPod Touch.
Applidium, a french mobile development company (which brought us the famous iOS game Falldown 3D) has been successful at reverse engineering how Siri communicates with the Apple servers. The findings are pretty interesting.
As promised, Aircel and Airtel have started pre-order for the iPhone 4S today – 18th November 2011. The prices come as a surprise/shock to all Apple Fans who were expecting it to be priced <40,000 INR.
It’s time for iPhone fans to rejoice once again with the iPhone4S finally coming to India and I just can’t wait to get my hands on one. Aircel has announced that it’ll launch the phone soon. We are yet to see a similar announcement from Airtel.
The exact release date and prices are not officially out yet. BGR.in earlier reported that the release date will be November 24/25th 2011 and the prices would be
16GB – 40,000 INR
32GB – 45,000 INR (Not clear, but seems logical).
64GB – 50,000 INR
Let’s all hope that this time, they get rid of the crappy “Reverse Subsidy” plans and really offer something for a discount. Psst… I don’t mind a free bluetooth headset.
In other news, in case you’re not really happy with these prices. The much awaited Unlocked iPhone4S is now available for pre-order in the US. Call your friends who’re returning from the US and can smuggle one for you.
16GB – 649$ (around 32,500 INR + taxes)
32GB – 749$
64GB – 849$
So are you going get an iPhone4S or will you wait for the “real iPhone5″? BTW, did you know that Siri works great with Indian accents too.
Update 13th November 2011
Aircel has confirmed 25th November 2011 as the release date. The pre-orders are starting on November 18th. Don’t be late. Also Airtel has confirmed to be launching the iPhone4S too in an email communication.

Apple has announced the pricing and availability details for the unlocked iPhone 4S. It is priced as follows:
The unlocked models are listed as “Shipping in November” on Apple’s online store. Which means we will only be able to order them after a few weeks. Note that the unlocked iPhones only work with supported GSM carriers around the world (In India, Airtel & Vodafone are supported, however, iPhone works with all GSM carriers in India). CDMA only works when iPhone is purchased with a CDMA carrier contract. This means that you won’t be able to buy an unlocked iPhone 4S and use it on Reliance or Tata Indicom’s network in India.
Unlocked iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS are already available at a reduced price.
UPDATE: Unlocked iPhone 4S is available in many other countries where government regulations mandate sale of unlocked model in addition to subsidized ones. These are countries like Canada, Australia and UK. Grab them from there if you have any sources there! (Thanks Shubham!)

Now that the iPhone 4S has landed, it is time for price reductions on the previous iPhone models. Apple is still continuing with the iPhone 3GS (proving again that it is still a very powerful device capable of running iOS 5). The iPhone 4′s capacity has been reduced to 8GB. The previous models are available at dirt cheap prices in the US with 2 year contracts. But who gives a shit about contract prices? We want to buy unlocked iPhone from US and bring them to India and use them here. So here are the reduced prices of these two babies:
They are available for purchase now. No official word yet whether Apple will be selling the unlocked iPhone 4S from day one, but there is considerable evidence that suggest that they plan to launch it. And if they do, there is a high chance that they will price it same as the previous unlocked iPhone 4 prices.

Allright. So Apple did release a new iPhone today. But to the disappointment of the many, it wasn’t an iPhone 5. Although, the specs bump totally qualify the new one as the next gen phone, Apple went with the “S” terminology this time again to signify that the primary benefit from the upgraded specs is gonna be increased speed. So here are the specs of the iPhone 4S (changes from iPhone 4 highlighted in bold):

ebay launched its iPhone app long back. However, users in India could not use it as it did not support the Indian store (ebay.in). Not anymore! ebay India’s Country Manager announced in a press release that the app now supports purchasing stuff from the India store in addition to several other country specific stores. I checked and could indeed see India as the option under settings. Awesome.
So all of you ebay fans, buyers or sellers, get your iPhones and make a sale/purchase on the move! The app is available for free on the App Store.
