The two fastest selling gadgets of this year are not only the 2 best gadgets of the year, they are the fastest selling gadgets of al time! They might appeal to different category of audience but they are certainly the best gadgets to own this year.

TheNextWeb compiled a cool infographic to compare their sales and the respective earnings. Some interesting facts we deduced out of the infographic:

Keeping in line with other Apple history, iPad’s Day 1 sales were thrice that of Kinect. Maybe RDF is the reason.
Within 1 month, as the reviews probably started flowing in, the Kinect sales jumped ahead.
Apple makes more than 4 times the revenue on every iPad compared to what Microsoft makes on Kinect.
