Samsung Infuse 4G: 4.5″ Screen & The Thinnest Android Yet

It’s CES time and we expect a gazillion gadgets to be launched. We have decided to cover only the ones that we find interesting. Here is one that fits the boat – Samsung Infuse 4G.

Samsung Infuse 4G

Samsung Infuse 4G, announced by AT&T, is being touted as the thinnest Android Phone ever. But what I found rather interesting is the mega 4.5″ Super AMOLED display. Let me make that clearer, MEGA 4.5″ SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY! The phone also features a 1.2 GHz Hummingbird (Only Single Core ch-ch) display and an 8 Megapixel camera. The rest of the specs are pretty normal and not worth mentioning before it actually launches. The launch date or price haven’t been disclosed yet.

UPDATE: We found out how thin is this thing actually. As per SamsungHub it is 8.99mm, almost a mm thinner from it’s older brother i.e. the Galaxy S. It’s also over 0.2mm thinner than the LG Optimus Black which is also claiming to be the thinnest phone ever. Just to compare it’s also 0.3 mm thinner than the iPhone 4.

I guess we can officially give it to Samsung 🙂
